Freja in the park

So Freja was the star of the show this afternoon. Shot in Candie Gardens this time Shot on the Fuji XT-2 with a few different lens as I was also testing out the hss and ttl with the 56mm f1.2 and the 23mm f1.4.

Re: Freja in the park

Another very good show, Peter.

What I like about your work is, each and every shot is completely different from the previous shot.

Every shot is pin sharp. I like the moody mono look portrayed in these.

Re: Freja in the park

Thanks Garry.

I like to try and get different shots seeing as I am shooting with more or less the same people al the time. It would get boring very quickly having the same looks over and over again . I do like moody shots and also the b/w style adds to that

Thanks again for looking and commenting

Yes. I can understand why this edit would be a favourite.

I also prefer this to the original.

It's quite a thought provoking image.

Re: Freja in the park

Thanks Garry.

I was sitting in a cafe in the gardens after the shoot having a cheeky coffee before picking up the wife from work. While doing that I got the camera out and just started to flick around. When I came to this photo it stopped me in my tracks and I just knew I had to give it a true edit

Re: Freja in the park

I do like that!

Although we are looking at a smaller image. The colour seems to soften the image.

By softening. I mean that the mono looks dark and moody, and the colour is a more softened effect. Not that the photo isn't sharp.

Edit.

Just looked at your flikr shots.

It was good to be able to fully compare the mono and colour.

They are both great and yet they are so different due to the mono / colour

Re: Freja in the park

These are very nice images. I do love the colour option too though! Red dresses are always killer!
