Photo critique Here is where you can display your images and seek the comment, advice and, maybe, constructive critique of your work. Only post your images here if you are happy for frank feedback. If in doubt, use the beginners board instead. Only post your comments here if you feel you can make a constructive and polite contribution in response to what is, for some, a leap of faith in exposing their work to your critical comment.

Re: A Horse in Winter

Very nice Stephen - and wow what a hardy horse; no coat and he/she is munching frozen pasture!

Re: A Horse in Winter

Thanks Ian. Two horses live in this field, Mouse and Bill. Both boys, rescue horses, and they never have coats. They do have a shelter they can use in extremis!

Thumbs up Re: A Horse in Winter

This is a wonderful picture. Beautiful scene, beautiful atmosphere and feeling of tranquillity. I love everything about it.

Re: A Horse in Winter

Thanks, Pol. Luckily it was only yards from our house as it was a tad chilly!

Fabulous location, lucky you! I grew opposite a farm with some of its fields behind us. When the farmer died it was sold to a developer who built houses and a hotel on the land.

Yes, you wouldn't think we were 2 miles from Watford centre! Good job we don't have to pay for living there - we wouldn't be able to afford it.
