Red Kite

We were being like a couple of teenagers today - not bothering how cold it was standing and waiting for a pic of a bird or two. We almost froze in the extremely cold weather - madness!

We were rewarded for our stupidity though.

Thank goodness for Image stabilisation I had the shakes about this time.

Re: Red Kite

Very nice, Barr1e.

I'm pleased that you stayed out for these shots.

You were rewarded well. Two very good photos.

The first has to be my favourite, as it gives scale to the Kite, seeing it alongside the Magpie.

Thanks Garry - the bird has quite a wingspan.

Red Kite
