Re: Lightroom 2 - Any good Books ?

Hello Dennis. The book I have is a 'Visual QuickStart Guide' called "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2- Learn Lightroom the Quick and Easy way". It is published by Peachpit Press and with this you also get an online version of it free. The author is Nolan Hester.

It is a simple basic guide to LR2. Very easy and lots of pictures to explain things.

Just found the link to it on Amazon, typical really as I just paid full price for it at Waterstones I then find it half price on Amazon!! Typical of my luck

Re: Lightroom 2 - Any good Books ?

Thanks everyone for recommendations. The consensus so far seems to for Scott Kelby's book. I did have a look at it i n Waterstones this afternoon along with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 Book by Martin Evening which looked pretty good and extensive. However at Waterstone's prices 28 I did not bother and thought I would seek further advice here before deciding. Which ever I decide it will be from Amazon where they are about half the price.

Scott Kelby's is brilliant. It is in use most days and is on my desk ATM. He goes into everything.

Dear denis, I would recommend strongly Martin Evenings "The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 Book: The Complete Guide for Photographers". It is really a very complete and easy book to sudy with I use it every time for permanent consults...
