Thumbs up Playing with the New Toys

I spent a day with Amateur Photographer at the "Blue Fin" building in London, learning how to shoot "Still Life" as part of their Masterclass series.

As well as the excellent tuition from Andrew Sydenham, we got to play with some really nice new Pentax kit.

I was really surprised at how easy they are to use. I've got a very old digital Pentax and there are quite a few similarities to menus etc that made the learning curve easier to climb up.

The 100mm Macro is a delight to work with and produces very good results.

Unfortunately neither good kit or a great teacher can compensate for my complete lack of ability to construct a still life subject...
