Zuiko 45mm 1:1.8 lens

Has anybody got this lens and using it with the OMD-M5
I have heard that is very good from some forums. But have not seen many photo's of it's capabilities. John.

Re: Zuiko 45mm 1:1.8 lens

I have it John but not the OMD and use it on a Pen.

It is a great lens for low light or throwing backgrounds out of focus.

All these were taken wide open at f/1.8.

Sharp as a tack even wide open

This was taken indoors at f/1.8 ISO200, if it had been a f/5.6 lens it would have been ISO1000.

This one in really low light at f/1.8 ISO 800 again if a f/5.6 lens it would have been in the ISO 4800 range.

Also the one of Chelsea in thought was taken with this lens.

I hope this helps you John and you should get even better results with the OMD.

Re: Zuiko 45mm 1:1.8 lens

Paul,

Just seen your photos with the mZuiko 45mm f1.8 lens using a Pen. The portrait of the young lady is superb and the definition excellent. The low light performance is remarkable.

Ray.
