Salon 238
Bicycle – or any part of - eg wheels or two/three wheeled cycles or if you wish a motorised scooter/motor cycle.
1. All photographs are to be uploaded to the photo gallery at http://dpnow.com/galleries/
They can be put in members own gallery if they wish. The resulting link generated for the photo will then be pasted into the next available space in the salon thread. Please keep photos to a maximum of 1000 pixels wide so people can see the whole image without scrolling.
2. As agreed previously, TWO entries maximum per user ID only please, which must be the personal work of the entrant.
3. Entries should be ‘in line’ within the thread (not as a link to an image held somewhere else).
4. Comments on entries are welcome within the salon thread itself.
5. After the close, the curator will indicate a winner and a couple of runners up.
6. The curator’s decision is final.
7. The winner will be invited to choose the next theme and curate the next salon.
8. If the winner is unable to curate the next salon the current curator may offer that ‘honour’ to any willing volunteer, possibly the entrant in second or third place.
9. These rules are to be copied and pasted with the new theme by the curator at the top of the new salon thread with a finish date and time.
10. As with all photos posted on DPNow, copyright remains with the photographer and DPNow will not use them without permission.
Closing date Midnight Saturday 3rd March.

Re: Salon 238
The first image, older members may recognise (Autumn?) from the 2007 mee in Oxford. I was the only member without a DSLR and at that time had no intention of getting one (oh, how times have changed). This is a butcher's bike in the Covered Market
The second was taken last year at our local bike meet - a very short visit from the local chapter.

Unfortunately I didn't manage that mee . I still don't have a DSLR and wont be getting one. I use a Fuji HS50 24-1000 mm. I've had a couple of baby Panasonics, (first one must have fallen out of my pocket as I was getting into the car and Roy ran over it either backing out or on our return ). The second one TZ20 I loved, but it just packed up on me over about a year. I will be replacing that soon, but I really liked the fact that it had a touch screen and relatively large zoom and the later model didn't. Not looked lately.

Re: Salon 238
Sorry, memory failing!
There were one or two other lasses there - Julia was definitely one, and I think the other (having looked) was JoJo.

Great turnout so far - we are now half way through and I am hopeful the entries grow in number.
