Re: It's spring here!

Lucky you, Yoshi, and a nice series of shots.

However, don't rub it in, there's a love - it was lovely and sunny here too... till 10 am, and has rained pretty steadily ever since, and I've just heard the gale warnings....

Re: It's spring here!

Nice images Joshi. It is funny, but I always think of daffodils and pansies as being English flowers, not Japanese!

Can't wait for some warmer weather.

Re: It's spring here!

Hi Carol, thank you for the comments. In the past one week or so, it has become swiftly warmer here. It’s not yet warm enough for me but looks like quite warm enough for flowers and younger people.

Taken on the same day at a different place. Here the cherry trees have just started to change the colour to pink. Probably they will be in the full blossom in another week or so.

Rain at the end of March will surely bring superb May flowers to your part of the globe as well. Another good season for photographers!

Re: It's spring here!

Hi Audrey, I confess I’m not familiar with flower names but am a little bit surprised to know you felt “something English” in the pictures. Actually the last three were taken at “English Garden”, a part of the park.

I found some pink wooden boxes in that garden and first thought they were bird nests but they weren’t. It says "England" on the box. Instinctively I peeped into the hole and saw this - maybe my first UK scenery pic!? No idea which part of Uk it is - a nice place for a landscape photographer, though.

Re: It's spring here!

It appears to be somewhere in Cumbria in NW England. Commonly referred to as the Lake District. I'll be up there next Thursday, so hope to have a few pictures to show. Just hope the weather is OK
