Re: Essay on Jaisalmer India Desert
Thanks for posting these Horacio. Have you just returned from India? I usually think of Africa or the middle east for sand dunes but they must exist in many places around the world. I like the mono treatment.

Re: Essay on Jaisalmer India Desert
So many shapes and patterns. Hard to realize that they all naturally made.

Re: Essay on Jaisalmer India Desert
Lovely images as ever.
I went here in 1984 in my wandering days.Great place only disturbed by the Indian air force jets patrolling the Pakistan border.
I wonder if the walled town has changed much.

Re: Essay on Jaisalmer India Desert
I like the shapes, undulations and shadows - they work well in b+w.

Re: Essay on Jaisalmer India Desert
A wonderful collection of shapes, textures and light and shade, enhanced by rendering in B&W. Every one of these is excellent, thanks for posting.

Re: Essay on Jaisalmer India Desert
Ooooh! I like all of these, B&W works really well and I can imagine them printed and hanging on a wall, very nice!

Re: Essay on Jaisalmer India Desert
Horatio, you have done it again for me! I am not even going to try to select a favourite. I love these different abstract but natural shapes. Thanks for showing us. I didn't see any sand shapes when I went to India last year.
