Upgrading Camera

Hi all, I am considering upgrading my old Fuji 602Z and have been for the last 3 years. I like the spec on the Canon EOS400D with the twin lens kit, 18-55 and 55-200. It also includes a battery grip. I have around €1200 to spend. Is this kit worth the quoted €1045 or should i be considering something else. I will only be using it for general photography. Am not good enough for anything else. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Upgrading Camera

Hi Dennis, I have been looking closely at the 400D recently and that seems a good deal. I would go for that.

Of course you are! You are good enough to take what you think is a great picture, anyone can, it is how it is interpreted. We are all more than capable to take great pictures, go and shoot what you see

The EOS-400D is a very good camera. The kit price seems reasonable too. I always advise people asking for advice like this to find a shop that will let them touch and try their prospective purchase (along with any others that could be considered) before parting with one's cash
