Wonderful shots again, the first one really has the wow factor for me - all the shots are excellent, but the detail in that first bee fully laden with pollen just keeps drawing me back for another look.
It just goes to show that having all the necessary gear (which I certainly do) is no guarantee of success - I have never produced insect macro shots as good as these!
They look fabulous OlyPaul. I'm still a beginner, but I'm interested in a macro filter and given I have the same E-PL3 with a 40-150mm lens (one that comes with standard dual lens kit), I was hoping the Sigma piece of kit you have would fit? I've done a lot of hunting but can't work out what the model number of CUF is that I need and whether I need a 'hood adapter' (?).

Any advice most appreciated.
It is the Sigma [10] Achromatic Macro Lens that was designed for use with the Sigma Apo 70-300mm lens. It has a 58mm thread, and works perfectly on the standard 40-150mm Zuiko kit lenses. As I understand it the Sigma is a two-element design (similar, if not identical, to the Canon 250D Macro close-up lens that retails for about seven times the price), and of much better optical quality than cheap +1 to +4 dioptre screw-on close-up lenses. My experience of the lens is nothing but good.
They do appear on E-bay quite often varying in price from £4 to £30, just make sure it is the double element one.
