Red kites (lots and lots of them!)

Was in the village of Tetsworth in Oxfordshire today for lunch. This area is famous for its Red Kites and here are a few snaps from today:

It was very windy so they were moving fast and none of my shots were pin sharp, sadly. But there were plenty of them - at least ten in the field of view at one point.

Ian

Amazing series Ian, and difficult to pick a favourite.

I've been working down at High Wycombe for the past month (hopefully the end is in sight - getting a bit tired of the travelling) but the best bit has been stepping out of the office and being able to see these magnificent birds overhead.

Thumbs up Re: Red kites (lots and lots of them!)

Good captures, especially that first shot.

You did well to grab the third shot of the 'synchronised fliers' too.
