I was in the field/s almost all of yesterday and captured the usual butterflies, although I must add very few in numbers were seen. Those we did see (Anne joined in the hunt later in the day) were low in the grass or vegetation, thus presenting to make the day more difficult.
Our usual meadow was almost bereft of wings but we were treated to seeing high up on a branch/twig a Broad Bodied Chaser.
