Helping me in the garden

I was digging and weeding in my garden a couple of days ago and I had this little friend helping me by eating any little grubs I dug up.

I know the last one perched on my fork handle is a cliché, but he posed for me and I couldn't resist.

There is a theory that robins evolved to regard humans as an opportunity to boost their foraging effectiveness, which is why they are so interested in us when working in the garden and digging up worms and the like!
