The future AFTER HDR?

My daughter sent me a link to a page from Le Monde - to save me translating it all, I've run it through Google translate which gives a fair (if not exact) idea of what is said.

For instance, under the heading Composite Material, the original French reads:
la photographie ne peut plus être la représentation en deux dimensions d'un instant unique

which has been translated as:
the photograph may be the two-dimensional representation of a single moment.

Personally, I would have said:
"the photograph is no longer the two-dimensional representation of a single moment"
...but it's too late at night to translate it all

Re: The future AFTER HDR?

Is this a reference to 3D? Quite a few cameras now incorporate a pseudo 3D mode or even stereo 3D lenses in some cases. This is primarily for video of course but you can view 3D stills on a 3D TV and Fujifilm is promoting 3D stills cameras and printing.
