When I re-introduced myself yesterday Pops suggested I show some of my work, so I thought I'd start with my successful LRPS panel from last year as it shows a representation of what I like to take - mostly landscapes but some still life, sport, birds, etc. I must admit that two of these were taken on film, can anyone spot which ones?

Excuse me John - I clearly recall you saying you were cr?p at still life when I saw you the other day. So how did you manage to produce number 2 then?
Ian
Hehe, sometimes I get inspiration for a still life but not very often. I found this bunch of seed pods whilst out walking and took it home to photograph on the lightbox I used to use for viewing slides. If I remember right I also used a little off-camera fill flash so it wasn't just backlit.

Thanks Pops. No 8 is actually a Kestrel, a common sight in the UK but an amazingly beautiful bird when you get close.
Yep, male Kestrel.
