  • English Bossy beaks

    This one is for Pops! I think this is a Nuthatch! It was such a bossy little thing that chased all the other birds away from the feeder! Not having taken many photos of birds before, I found it quite a challenge to get a decent shot due to the constant movement of the birds on the feeder!

                I'm glad you said it Ian. I daren't. I thought what a fool I am looking for a beak at the wrong end.

                  Thanks all for your comments! Ian, I thought the eye was quite a clear indication of which end was the tail and it had chased the tit away! (Please excuse my humour, lol!) These birds don't stay still too long, do they? I was constantly readjusting the focusing & therefore got many shots with just the feeder present or a flutter of feathers!
