Where to find upload image size limits and types supported

Pol did such a good job of this, I thought I'd pinch it and make it a Critique board sticky - Ian

Guys,
I posted this message in the photo critique forum but maybe it should be here too. I've looked all over but I can't find the rules and regs for posting photos - i.e. size, extentions etc. Seems like these should be very easy to find for new users.

When you want to post a photo attachment ..... scroll down a little way below where you type in your message and click on the "manage attachment" button. That's where you'll see a list of which sort of attachments and file sizes are allowed. Up to 250k filesize is ok and dimensions depend on the typ of file.

I'm attaching a screenshot of the window you'll find find when you click on the "manage attachments" button

Is the "max file size" on the jpg wrong or is that me?

Oooops, that was jpeg - went off half cocked

It should read 250.0k, not 25.0k Ian's corrected it now in the upload window - but I'd already done the screenshot before he corrected it. It was the screenshot that drew attention to the typo actually.

Thanks you very much for your response and offer to explain how you processed the picture!
