Re: Resting Place

Hi -

Nice series and I like all three.

I note you are in Cornwall and wonder if the second image is a local one as it reminded Anne of Whitby?

Regards. Barr1e

Re: Resting Place

Barr1e, the second and third are at Talland church about 3 mile from Looe here in sunny Cornwall the church has an amazing carved vaulted ceiling which was my reason for going.......................unfortunately I did not do it justice.

Re: Resting Place

I like number one. A couple of Friars! Well exposed and executed with the Bokeh background. (Tell me if this is the wrong term. I have picked it up from this forum. I would normally have called it an OOF background).

The second one is "Well spotted." Not a personal favourite of mine as I try to avoid gravestones, at all costs, these days.

A nicely exposed image of the church.

Now that I have critiqued these, I see they weren't in the Critique section. Sorry Mike.

I have been in quite a few churches as I like to photograph them due to the peace and not having many bodies in the way. The roof of this is quite unusual. Thanks for the full picture.

Re: Resting Place

Hi Mike

That first picture is a good un. I much prefer photography with people in them - for me it seems to tell a story very quickly.

Cheers
