Re: Royal Aircraft Factory SE5A

Nice shots David, as you suspected that's a 7/8 scale replica of an SE5a, the give away being the size of the pilots head relative to the airframe.
Oh and the fact it's running a flat four...

Re: Anyone here use a Samsung NX camera

Not a user Ian but the new NX1 looks to be a very interesting camera. It looks like Samsung are ramping up their intentions in the CSC sector.

Re: Tonight's Moon two different cameras

Re: Tonight's Moon two different cameras

Thanks Pops, as Pol says below the lens is my Tokina 300.

Thanks Pol the E-M5 has rendered the image with a warm looking tone. Difficult to say which one is correct though :)

Tonight's Moon two different cameras

Both were taken using the Tokina 300 and stacked x1.4 and x2 teleconverters. Effective focal length 840 mm.

Re: Before the frost

Lovely shots John, I might just have to buy another 60 mm. I sold my Oly primes before getting my Fuji gear.

Re: Fujifilm X-E2

I agree Graham, the Fuji X system is maturing very nicely and the X-E2 has quite a lot going on 'under the hood' so I think it's actually quite a nice upgrade to the X-E1.

Re: Some Butterflies from Corfu

Nice captures there David, whilst the 75 -300 is not ideal for these it still capable of good results. It would be interesting to try some macro tubes with it to get in little closer :)
