we are in agreement in the definition of "impact" which is up there with the definition of "what is art?" i have set on juries for the PPA enough to know the likes and dislikes of some of the other...

i think that i would stick with a warm mono tone. maybe experiment with a mild radial blur on another layer (low opacity and erased in the center of the flower).

looking back at getting married in 1973, i am grateful that i chose a black tux rather than one of those silly powder blue ones that were popular then.
