Re: What's your favourite lens?

Bob, it is an interesting question. For me its the 14-54 because it is such a flexible lens. It does probably 95% of the shooting I want to do, and it does it well. That range gives most city...

Re: price of petrol in Folkestone.

Photoshop touch

Just made a Samsung Note 10.1 purchase whilst on holiday and it comes bundled with PS touch. Initial play shows it being quite a meaty piece of software, though it will take some getting used to...

Re: Memories

I would have driven my rusty '72 anywhere. I had planned a trip back to the factory with it which was only quashed by my mother, the old man was well up for coming with me! My '93 water pumper I...

Re: Memories

Forgot to say what happened to them...

GMB 538K - '72 beetle - scrapyard in the sky, probably became a beach buggy because was tax exempt
HDH 161H - '70 beetle - went to a collector in Ireland....

Re: Memories

Dedication to me was being ridiculed be everyone at school for driving a rusty '72 beetle that I'd bought with my own money with doors from the beetle I'd bought before and cut my teeth dismantling. ...

Re: What's your favourite lens?

That fire engine picture is really special throt.

For me it is the classic Zukio Digital 14-54mm. It is a reasonably affordable "pro" lens when bought second hand which can deliver so much. Its...

Re: Would you like to upgrade to a DSLR or other system camera?

My dad was an SLR user for a long time, then moved to a Canon 35mm. When this gave up the ghost they bought a Canon Powershot (I remember this being just before we had a family holiday/wedding abroad...

Very interesting - I'd like to see some more shots. India is a huge market for fixed link infrastructure and the rate at which these things are going up is staggering

Re: Street Prayers

I do like this, even better looking again.

Would you mind me asking what city this is in? I have a vested interest in railways and their construction!

I hadn't paid much attention to the...

The darkness at the top adds something too - As a viewer I'm not sure how far back the rows go which adds atmosphere. An interesting shot
