After the rather sobering subject of my previous blog post, here's one to lighten the atmosphere. I was in London this afternoon to take some sample shots with Olympus' new 75mm f/1.8 (150mm equivalent) Micro Four Thirds medium telephoto lens. It not only survived, but was rinsed and dried and continued to be evaluated by other journalists throughout the afternoon!

That confirms my long-held suspicion that men are daft! So did anyone sniff it or lick it make sure of getting the last dregs.

    21st century "Beer Goggles"

I wonder if the TG-1 in a glass of beer will improve the looks of some of the wannabe models we get to photograph

If my 1030 wasn't so tough, I could tell the wife I broke it and get a new TG-1

I really do enjoy playing with new toys and this is just the sort of thing that gives me ideas
