Wacom is considered to be among the best, however which model depends on your budget. they go from around £65 through to the hundreds.

If you can borrow one for a few days from a friend who has one, I would advice you to try before you buy.
I have had three over the years, and never got on with any and I know of others who don't, then there are some people that love them.

Good advice (as ever) I have to admit I look on ebay as a hire service, and have often bought things, tried it, then sold it on (one time I made a profit)

Hi Graham, I'm with Patrick on this one. I've tried a Wacom A5 version and never really got to grips with it. My feeling is that unless you are using PS all day and for detailed work, then a mouse is as easy as anything.

As for searching the forums, I can't see why you should have a problem. I've just searched for Graphics Tablets and it came up with pages of references, the first ones going back to 2005 :)
