Roger Leale's pciture of a frosty sunrise is one that makes you want to be there to witness the event for yourself. See Roger's picture now and ask yourself if you are up to the task of being selected for the DPNow POTD too. All you need to do is exhibit your pictures on the free DPNow photo gallery and maybe we'll be in touch!

I remember being really impressed first time round with this one. It's still one of the best shots I've seen on here. Well done Roger.
Best shot i've seen all month , great exposure and composition .
Had my last dog put down 2 years ago and i still get a little moist when i look back at old pics of him so i know what this picture means to Roger .
Great choice for pic of the year let alone the day .

Very nice shot indeed. The frosty look is accurately captured.
Generaly, I like shots that pass exactly the feeling intending to capture and this one does too.
As far as the sky postprocessing is concern, it is part of the picture and the effects of it part of our life :)
In other words, the specific post-processing applied didn't make the picture to be non-realistic, for the simple reason that, it is possible to exist a sunny frosty morning.
Well done!

George
