Thanks Ian, it certainly did. The more I read through the book and saw the photos, the more I was captivated by it.
Good review Stephen and very tempting.
I have seen the St Michael's mount one recently in our Club - the photographer got 1st prize! I wonder if he had seen this book.*LOL
I was rather surprised to see that although there have been many clicks to Amazon from the review page, this book hasn't achieved a single sale to UK customers. Meanwhile, we've seen sales of several other more obscure photography books.
Weird - this book would make any photographer very happy!

Indeed it would, but I suppose "Times is hard" *LOL
Actually its very reasonably priced on Amazon UK £9.74 a bargain

I don't think it's that, because DPNow visitors are buying other books, but not this one - even on the strength of your glowing review

That's the soft back edition.
At the foot of the page Amazon's links show the book (Hard Back Edition) in the UK as £38.21, US $33..38 and in Europe UER 30.93.
Clearly here in the UK we are being ripped off as usual and perhaps shows why it has not sold a single copy in the UK.

That price must be wrong Patrick, its £22.50 on David Notons own site for the HB version and he signs it for you and throws in some cards of his images

That looks more like it, the exchange rate has hovered around 1.48 to 1.50 for a couple of weeks now.
I have to follow it for my new agency selling American evening & prom dresses.
Indeed if you ladies would like to have a drool at some rather special beautiful dresses the web site is http://www.preciousformals.com/

There is also a DVD with the same title that goes one step further than the book, featuring David demonstrating his techniques and vision on location. It really is a must for all keen landscape enthusiasts. I think I paid about £20 but it would be an absolute bargain at twice the price!
I was fortunate to see David's exhibition at the Oxo Gallery last year and it's hard to find superlatives that do justice to his prints. I can only describe it as an awe inspiring but chastening experience!
I have bought it - due for delivery from tomorrow, for £7.46 + £2.75 p & p. Total £10.21 for a soft back. This is through an Amazon link.
