have tried to get some decent butterfly shots but as i didnt know the correct settings etc it was pot luck & lots of waste,& no- one had explained to them before hand that i was experimenting with macro & they must stay still long enough for me to keep trying diff setting
Hi Cryslerchick,
As a hit and miss shot it looks good to me, apart from the missing wing edge, are you useing a macro lens or the macro program on prosumer (super compact) camera? To keep them still: "you could always try playing soft music to them:D"
Best of luck.

:D ...program on prosumer (super compact) camera? what ??
i shot on the s mode setting using the macro feature on my fuji finepix s5000
im new to all this & am trying to get to grips with settings etc, then you go & fling in words like prosumer super cmpact :p :)
I think Brenda was using the close focus mode on her Fujifilm FinePix S5000 rather than a dedicated close-up or macro lens.
