As my 350D's grip (and the 40D grip I'm about to order) use 2 batteries, I've always had to wait for batteries to be charged one at a time in the charger that came with the camera.

I've just come across this device and I wondered if anyone uses one? I particularly like the fact that it also works in the car.

Hi Stuart, are you looking for things to spend yer money on *LOL

I've never had one of these devices, however I do have one for the BP511 batteries, that works in the car. I've never used it. :(

Now I may be wrong here, but when I had a 20D and used 2 batteries, I always thought that the camera did not use both batteries at the same time. When it started to show low battery life left, I could swap them over and it would show full again. This would allow me to charge one up whilst using the other.. Kinda defeats the object of having a dual battery charger to me :D

Yeah, know what you mean.

I've got 2 x Canon batteries and 2 clones for the 40D. Reckon it would be a pretty heavy shoot to go through the lot and be stuck in the middle of nowhere desperate for a car charger :D

I'm stuck at home ill today (whole family down with some sort of virus - the wife's off as well so I know it's bad!) and I'm bored so I'm flicking through web sites spending (small amounts) of money unnecessarily - better stop I guess.

I'm working on an interesting project at work so I got my laptop out to get on with that - until my battery ran out and I found that both my mains and car chargers for it are back at the office :o . I guess that's what started me thinking about battery chargers....

Think I'll go and lay on the couch and sleep - it'll be cheaper :)
