View Full Version : I can't edit this:
http://dpnow.com/forum2/showthread.php?p=20468#post20468
I was posting the instructions for the next Salon when I noticed an inconsistency and decided to edit it, but ended up with this smiley instead of a figure 8.
At the time I tried to alter it but just ended up with the smiley. What am I doing wrong?
I am unable to edit it at all now.

i am guessing a new smiley has been added with that as the text for it.
I tried to change it myself, but the number 8 is that smiley. Interesting it is not vcoming up as that here though.
Glad it's just not me then.:)

8 is ok. 8 ) without a space is a smiley. 8)

Thanks Ron. I was just going to ask if it was anything to do with the bracket when I saw your reply.
I can't now edit it so I will have to leave it to one of the mods to do the edit.

Looks like Stephen has fixed it.
If you see a smiley in your text, you have probably stumbled across a combination of characters that represents a smiley. One solution is to turn smileys off in your post. You can do this via the Advanced menu - just scroll down to find the option.
