I would like to share this with the forum members who are former members of HM Forces.
Last year I found out that ex-service personnel are still entitled to the discounts that they received from many retailers while still serving in the forces; to do so register with Forces Discount MOD. This is the only official Defence Discounts Directory and can be used by the following:
Regulars - Royal Navy, Army, RAF, Royal Marines
Veterans
Cadets
Reserves
MoD Civil Servants
Families
Unlike many other so called forces discounts sites. There are no subscriptions, no hidden charges, and no annual fees. Your information will not be used by a third party.
Go to: www.forcesdiscounts-mod.co.uk and register and start enjoying discounts with the 510 companies at present registered with them, the category to look for which will be of interest to forum members, is “Computers, phones & photography Category” savings can be made with:
Dell
Apple Computers
Pentax
HP
PicStop
It’s amazing the amount of people I have spoken to who do not know about this, especially: veterans, cadets, reservists and MoD civil servants.
