I'm hoping against hope the forecasters may have got it wrong again but .......

Have a look at this (http://uk.reuters.com/article/domesticNews/idUKL0961090020070709?rpc=401&feedType=RSS)

then curl up and weep. *sob

They have to be wrong, don't they? They usually are, aren't they?:D

Oh I do wish you hadn't posted that link
Had nothing more than a 3 minute shower here since Saturday and was beginning to relax.

It's been dry here for a couple of days too. Dry enough to cut the lawn before the frost sets in. :D

No prob keeping the lawn cut but I'm all of a dither now about which plants to cover up, not only that I can't remember where I put me gloves and scarf

Don't lose any sleep over it 'cos they never get the forecast right anyway. They just send one of the work experience schoolkids to look out of the window and go by what the kid reports back. *snowman

I think they said frost was likely to be way up in the North of Scotland anyway so yer prolly gonna be ok ...... ok if you have a hotwater bottle handy anyway. :D

Here's a link (http://tinyurl.com/2t7c8x) to a site I've usually found to be a tad more accurate, most of the time anyway. It's set for Bamburgh atm but you can enter your own hometown at the top then look at the link for 15 days. I had a quick look and the lowest overnight temp predicted for your town over the next 15 days was about 7C iirc.
