A small download and the proggie sits in the systray, can also be hidden. It shows the current conditions and forecast for worldwide locations.

We had a horrendous thunderstorm yesterday evening. Mercifully no flooding in our area, we're high up anyway - but David's phoneline is out and can't be repaired until the 24th!
He's gone back to bed - I think it might have been something to do with my hankering after a run down to the marshes to see the skies and weather conditions down there ....... as well as going to the lake to feed Gilbert. :D

I have one on the Vista gadget bar....LOL!
Only tells you what is happening right now though....so its a little like a living room window. :D

So yer 'puter screen is yer living room window! That really is sad. :D
If you decide to 'ave a look at 'Weather Mate' go to options/setting and select "weekly details" and it'll show the forecast for the coming week.
David's decided he was "wasting his life away lying in bed" ( that's wot I said too) . so he's just come downstairs and asked me "where d'ya wanna go?" so I'm about to hobble off and gather me kit and direct him down towards 'Gilbert's lake'. Weather Mate betta be right or I'm gonna be in deep trouble here (or even in deep water if those ditches have overflowed and flooded the marshes). :eek: :D
