Redefines the coffee-table, eh Ben? :) Can you actually put cups of of coffee on the surface of the unit?
It reminds me how 'old fashioned' the PC desktop is. The WIMP (windows, mice and pointers) desktop interface was invented by Xerox in the 70s and has only been refined over the years. I used a more powerful desktop interface (Acorn RISC OS) back in the late-80s. Vista goes some way to addressing this with the Aero enhancements, but we should be interacting and controlling our computers in a much smarter way, really, using voice and other means.

Impressive stuff Ben, I want one :D Somehow suspect it will all be beyond individuals reach to begin with, though I'm sure the technology will filter through in due course. At the moment however the thought of running my finger over the screen in such a way makes me cringe, no one touches my screen :D

Well, you can fully control Vista by voice control, I have tried it, and its pretty intuitive, right from the off.......
Saying the following opens Word, and allows you to dictate.
'start'......'microsoft office'......'word' ........'start dictation' then just talk, and it types what you say.
It feels a little wierd, and frankly I prefer to typ and use a mouse, but never the less, the technology is within Vista.

As for the coffee cup on the table, yes you can, have a watch of the videos, and you will see ;)
The only coffee table PC's I have used before was the good old fashioned Space Invaders! :D
