The full sized photo of Audreys Chevvy discussed in the thread HERE (http://dpnow.com/forum2/showthread.php?t=2387)has been uploaded to my webspace and can be downloaded from HERE (http://stephen-anstey.com) Click on the thumbnail and the full image will appear. If you right click on this you can save it to your own computer.

The challenge is to manipulate the photo along the lines suggested in the above thread, or indeed however you want.

Post your attempt back in this thread and after a respectable time Audrey will choose her favourite. We'll also see if we can come up with a small prize for the winner, no promises mind ;) Go on have a play and see what you can do.

Got it!
I hadn't looked at your site before, Stephen, *very* impressive!
I shall return when I have a little more time to stroll through.
I've managed to get her a part-time job, so that'll get her out of the house a bit and I can spend more time on the important things in life! ;-)

Thanks , i added a bit of blur on the background to emulate DOF and was going to put a bit of noise on as well .
Once you've cut out the car +shadow it only needs a image with roughly the same perpective and light , you can play around with the contrast in layers till you get a match .
The image needs to match the backdrop .
Heres a colour version , too bright for me though .

PS watch out for that the reflections on the car match the surroundings and remember to cut out the interior windows so that the scene shows through as well .

I think "A Respectable Time" would be a week. Therefore, last entries should be posted before 12 noon on Wednesday 25th April. So, come on everyone, give Bigbob a run for his money! As Stephen says, there will be a small prize!:)

Well it looks like Bob has won by default, *clap no need for any judging cos there was no competition for him :) *sarc

TBH I really thought the likes of Pops & Lumix would have had a go, even Jim has gone all quiet.

Anyway Bob if you fancy that 77mm Kenko UV filter its yours for the asking *LOL. If you do I'll email Jim and ask him to send it to you. Alternatively I've a handfull of old Cokin type A filters I've been wanting to off load for ages, they are too small for my lenses :D

Congratulations Bob. It was a great idea. I like the way the chevvy was placed in the picture.

Thanks for participating.

Good on ya, Bob. t-up

It's an excellent picci and I reckon 'Madge' and her family would be thrilled to have a poster sized print for the wall.

Thanks Stephen , but a one horse race is no race so please leave the filter for the next challenge.
To be honest i'm a bit disapointed , it's not a hard challenge and i would have thought SOMEONE would have had a go , maybe it's your filter:D
