Hi all,
Taken at a zoo in Australia. he sat like this all the time we were there, is it humerous or sad? at first we were amused but by the time we left is was quite a sad sight to see.

Yes Tinka, he does look rather fed up with his lot doesn't he :(
Couldn't help noticing the similarity of his posture and expression to that of one of the ladies in Tom's "Three lovely ladies" shot from about a week ago ? Check it out

p.s. Am I allowed to do this

I don't see why not just as long as the owner of the photo (Tom) doesn't object. I see the resemblance too. Wicked!! :D

Hi JoJo,
great comparison and well spotted:D , but will it help george, and others like him? I wont take this angle any further that should be for another part of the forums.
Thanks for that Pol, I've sent Tom an email out of courtesy.

No problem Jojo. I'm enjoying the humour.I'm just sorry you did not cut and paste the monkey in beside the grumpy old hen in my pic LOL

Is George alone or does he have chimp company? Chimps are very social and do not cope well alone.
I'm with sad ... maybe he just lost a friend

Hi Guy,
There were other chimps in the compound and area, within sight of him but I believe he (George ) was on his own within this part of the compound, perhaps he had to be isolated for some reason.
