I went into town before and had a look around in Jessops. I was just checking they did not have a spyder in stock which they did not. Any way back to the 1d, when I came out of the shop I spotted the 1d with 580ex flash for the price of £1932. Is that a give away or what. I guess if you wanted to upgrade your camera and already had the flash unit you could sell that easy on ebay. You would get a good price on the flash unit seeing as you had it for nothing. That would make the camera even more of a deal. Oh do not forget this is the channel Island price ie no vat.
