Hi Ian - I feel that congratulations are deservedly due on the implimentation of the new forum. It is much easier to navigate around and one can see much more information on the root page. As a matter of fact it is similar to several other forums that I visit so the navigation and posting procedures etc come almost as second nature to me. Once again many thanks.:) ;)
Hi Dennis,
It was very frustrating that WebBBS was not developed by its author adequately. Four or five years ago it was a competitive and very flexible forum platform, but it did not stay with the times. I should have switched a long time ago.
I believe that vBulletin is the best option out there. It's widely supported and widely implemented, as you point out.
If there are any features that you have found on other forums that you would like to see implemented here, just let me know and I'll consider it.
Ian :)

Sweet! I like it :)
Hi Jo, what's the weather like where you are? (somewhere in Oz I believe?) :)

Hi Ian
Yes this new format will be a winner - Congratulations.
I am still having problems loading your front page of dpnow.com. I use Mozilla firefox and it wants to load a blank page after loading the one I want. Hopefully it will go away. It loads this new forum perfectly well.
The post-server upgrade problem you describe is eluding explanation but it does seem to go away eventually, so it could well be a cookie issue. If you know how to reset your cookies you could try that.
Ian
Thanks Ian - That did the trick.

Hi Ian..yes, we're in Perth, but a lot of my photography is from a little place called Denmark on the south coast.
This is much better than the old forum which I could simply never get to grips with. Looks really good.

OK message received - I should have switched a long time ago! :o
