Hi Bob, I have made a copy (to the DSLR discussion board) of your post to the Dogs thread because I think there would be a lot of interest in your new Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro, to give it its full title!
And you have the S3 Pro of course, so you are the ideal man to compare and contrast the two :)

OK have'nt had any time to do a test yet , you know what the weathers been like today , i picked the camera up from ''digital depot'' in Stevenage at 2 pm , and the weather was awefull .
First impressions ?
Smaller than the S3 (no vertical grip )more like the D70 .
Much more menu options (based on the D200)
I want to do a interior test to see how the ISO's betwwen 1600 and 3200 act .
Plus i want to couple it with the SB800 speedlight to see if the i-TTL is better for weddings and portraits than the S3 .
The ISO,W/B and Quality buttons on top are easier to use .
Dynamic range is now variable as is the film simulation modes (what that means in practise i've yet to find out ).
I'm planning to give it a complete test by weekend and i'll post the results .

OH . I forgot , because i pre ordered i got it for£995 , £200 off the list price for this weekend only , plus they threw in a free Sandisk extreme3 , 2GB card .
When are they going to complete the M25/A10 junction?
