Well I will keep you guessing for a little bit longer but what would be a great camera for sports which is the main thing I use one for and is also made by canon.:D. I also had a great lot of help from a forum member for which I am grateful in making the right choice.

I think I ID the camera as a 1D? :D

Spot on Ian its a 1d mk11n:cool: . I had my hands on one a few weeks back and knew that it was the camera for me. It did take a bit of thinking about because of the price but the way I look at it is I do not drink or smoke. It will take some getting use to but I guess thats half the fun. Also I did save a lot of money on it as I ordered it off the net from a UK company and as we do not pay vat it came down at a great price, In fact the local price is five pound short of two and a half grand. and I paid no where near that:D.

Yes same here:\ I went out last weekend and spent more time pushing buttons then taking photos. The layout is complete different to the 20d. I did spend a few days before that reading the manual and trying to push the odd button or two but you know what its like doing that its never the same as been out there trying to take photos. I think I have the basics down now. So I hope to be out this weekend seeing what sport is going on:) .
