View Full Version : Too many chiefs & not enough Indian's
What is a super moderator? Sounds like something out of Stargate SG1:eek:

It does sound a bit Sci-Fi, eh. :D
I think it's just a software default term. It's nothing grand, no awesome powers. Just a few people who have access to one or two extra tools so that ... eg. a posting or thread can be moved, maybe an edit done on behalf of a member who asks for some help.
It just means there are one or two others who are likely to be around to (hopefully) fix something or try to help anyone if Ian's away.

I'd say 'Super' was a pretty good description of you Pol :D
Hi Ash Pol is right though. Usually the super mod has access to all the forums so they can edit, delete, move etc. The regular Mod only has access to selected forums that they may have a specialist knowledge on. However its been decided that on DPNow all the Mods will have access to all the forums, so by default they become Super Mods
Hi Ash, Pol and Stephen have answered your question, but I might add that the title 'super moderator' could be changed to anything. Stephen has the same privileges but has a custom name 'Addicted' - :)
Ian
The term "Super Mod" makes me envisage Brandon Routh flying around the skies protecting little innocent forums from the ravages of nasty planet-domineering posts. ;)
When you come back from holidays, will the title change to "Supermod Returns"..? :)
