Their condition would shame lots of today's cars .. they really look immaculate.

They do look in very good condition. We have an annual show over here in Guernsey but we don't see this sort of thing. It would be good to travel to a UK event one of these days :\

Really like them. Mine isn't quite as old, but is well on the way... :) 1972 and 1977 and counting.

The Renault 4 looks stunning.

I've always had a fascination for vintage automobiles. Over the years I've taken a lot of shots when I've run across one. Seeing the images above inspired me to put some of the shots into a YouTube video.

Vintage cars - Classic, Muscle, Antique, and Novelty - YouTube

My first car was a 1961 Rambler Station Wagon. Today it would be considered vintage but definitely NOT a classic.

Nice pics, the Simca Aronde is a fairly rare car as it was from the era before Chrysler took a controling stake in the French car manafacturer.:)

One of my uncles had a late-60s American Motors Rambler Rebel 2-door coupe. He had it until around the mid-1980s. Of course American cars were so different to European cars back then and they are now a lot more similar. Seeing this enormous (by European standards) and plush car with its lazy burbly V8 engine was quite an experience for a youngster like me back then :) He also had a Chevrolet Caprice, which of course was even bigger!

We honeymooned in Great Britain eleven years ago. I picked up our rental car in Mayfair and my new wife navigated while I got used to driving on the "wrong side of the road". Now, that's a test of a new marriage.

The car was a Volvo wagon. One fellow we met said, "Oh, they gave you the BIG bus"! I didn't realize how large it was in comparison with most cars over there until I tried to park it in the garage at Bath. That is one tight parking lot!

The car barely fit over a bridge in Scotland.

My dad had a 1965 Chevy Impala Super Sport. I swear you could seat a dinner for four in trunk.
