Not a dragon fly, but a rather nasty looking leftover bug. :eek:

A Cicada pupa, or 17 year locust. Anyway they stay in the ground for 17 years, than crawl up something and turn into an equally gross looking flying creature. Whose sole purpose in life is to eat everything it sees for 2 weeks, mate and die. :)
