online proofing tool - Need some feedback and suggestions

Hi DP'ers

I'm new to this forum, but hope to get some good feedback from you, as this will shape a product made for photographers and designers!

I'm a partner in a danish company, where we a developing a unique proofing tool, and i would love to get some feedback from you.

We have already been talking to some photographers about how they get proof / Comments from customers, but we would like to discuss it with even more people.

To begin with, i would love if some of you could tell me more about what you do today? - do you use an online service? Do you make a lightroom gallery and upload this to your site? - just emailing or are you doing something else?

Plus, if you were to change your routine, what would it take?
And what is most important for you?
Price?
Some features you can't live without?
How easy it is to use?
Or something else?

Pretty straight forward really, design album, screen grab pages, email customer.
I can't really see a market for your product unless Im missing something.
If high rez images are needed or video for proofing as email servers have a limit, then I use dropbox and email customer a direct link to download.
I don't think Ide want to add yet another stage into my workflow.

Now, i'm just thinking out of the box here, but if our solution for example could something like this:

What if you didn't have to make screengrabs etc. of the file? - you just save the file somewhere on your computer, and then this file is automatically put into the web album, and your customer gets an e-mail about that its lying here, and they can in the web album approve what photos they like, write comments to the ones they dont like and so on?
