 Hello Friends, :)

Shown Below is my first real try at portrait photography. The blonde child is my daughter Kim (who you can see more of in my gallery)and the brunette is her friend Emmy. Long after the picture session was over I noticed that Kim's back was showing Above her pants. About three inches were exposed. I used Corel Paint Shop Pro X to Edit. The only lighting came from above and from my camera, so I also did some adjustments with that.
The photo of Emmy had the same lighting problem. Emmy has X-tra dark brown eyes and the camera makes them look black. I tried to lighten them just enough so people knew they were brown. My question is did I overdo it? other comments are also very welcome please. And I made the backround myself. I just used what I had on hand! And as always Thank you in advance!!!:D :D :D

Hi,
I have just seen your post, In my humble opinion you have done a superb job for your first serious attempt at portraiture, I like the home made background, just shows you need not spend a fortune to do a great pro looking job. They look first class to me. Lovely subjects and portraits. The eyes look fine and the subjects relaxed, happy and confortable.

Both super shots but my preference goes to the second. You have got her to pose beautifully.
Regarding the cloning ... unfortunately it is rather evident. May I suggest that you lower the opacity a bit next time or even use the object remover tool insted.
