Hi folks,

Human interaction is a very complex activity. It has its rewards. One of them is love, tender, affection, passion. These are all emotional feelings that may be expressed or concluded in a kiss.

Definition: to touch or caress gently or lightly with the lips as a mark of affection or greeting.

That is the new challenge. I expect that everyone will be able to give a kiss to someone and take the picture.

This salon will run for two and a half weeks and close at midnight GMT- Sunday 2nd of October.

The rules are as follows:

1. All photographs are to be uploaded to the photo gallery at http://dpnow.com/galleries/
They can be put in members own gallery if they wish. The resulting link generated for the foto/photo will then be pasted into the next available space in the salon tread. Please keep photos to a maximum of 800 pixel wide so people can see the whole image without scrolling.
2. One entry per user ID only please, which must be the personal work of the entrant.
3. Entries should be "in line" within the thread (not as links to an image held somewhere else)
4. Comments only on entries are welcome within the salon thread itself.
5. After the close the curator will indicate a winner and a couple of runners up.
6. The curator's decision is final.
7. Winners should be offered first refusal to choose the next theme and curate the next salon.
8. If the winner is unable to curate the next salon the current curator may offer that "honour" to any willing volunteer, possibly the entrant in second or third place.
9. These rules are to be copied and pasted with the new theme by the curator at the top of the new salon thread with a finish date and time.
10. As with all photos posted on DPNow, copyright remains with the photographer and DPNow will not use them without permission.
11. Please donībe shy and put yourself to work. It is all about having FUN.

Regards, Horacio

OK, on Haracio's behalf I have restarted the last salon that got rudely chopped by the server problems we had. I will look up those who had already submitted pictures to this salon originally and inform them that the salon has been restarted :)

This kiss could contain the power to drill through the skull, luckily he was extremely gentle.

As I recall my previous message, I realize that I made a terrible mistake. The ending date for this salon was supposed to be october 2. But I got confused and thought that it was the past sunday 25, in the urge of a trip I am starting tomorrow for 12 days. A photographic workshop in Arizona, in the navajo lands. I will be out of circuit, so I apologize for this error. I donīt know or imagine how we could go back as I already revealed my choice for the winner, so, probably another salon will have to be started. Help.
My deep sorrow and regards, Horacio

Not altogether down to you Horacio. The recent forum problems did throw everything out of sorts for a while.
In the interest of progress I would suggest to all that your decision on the winner stands and that Rogleale goes ahead with a new comp.

Comments anyone!

Agreed. Please could you send him a PM to let him know.

Also remind him to contact Julia about the Kingston card he's won.

Thanks. :)

P.S ... I've now unstuck the thread and the next Salon will be # 112 (hopefully started by Roger as soon as he's ready).
