Post-card replicas

I scanned an old colour negative, and tried to get the old-post card look by sepia toning and adding grain and noise.

Then I tried the same thing with split toning. I think that I may have overdone the grain.

Hi,
nice attempt, if it were not for the modern type craft on the water in the second photograph, the images would be timeless, I like the images and my view is that the attempt has succeeded, as for grain, photographs and therefor some if not most postcards were naturally grainy due to the early film technology.

I like the grain effect but feel that both ought to be a bit darker for more realism.
