I watched the funeral of President Ford last night. It was very touching.
VP's Cherney's statement was the most eloquent, heartful, and moving that I have ever heard.
When the coffin was placed near the House Chamber and when Mrs. Ford so proudly leaned on her loving husband's coffin, I was completly distracted by the very loud and noisy DSLR's that the out of sight press were using to photograph the event. At first I thought the sound was that of soilder's marching then realized it was a bunch of mirror slapping.
May President Ford rest in peace, and May our World see peace in 2007.
