I have a Ricoh GXR on loan at the moment - this is the camera that has interchangeable 'camera' modules - a lens and sensor in a unit that can be interchanged and fitted to the grip, viewfinder and LCD module.
Here's a shot from the 33mm macro module, which has an APS-C sensor (sorry about the big watermark - I forgot to switch this off!):

The above is from the DNG RAW file out of the camera and resized in Lightroom 3 but with no other adjustments.

This is my adjusted version. Basically I've brought the shadows up a bit and reigned in the highlights, while there was a small amount of fringing that needed correcting in Lightroom 3.
The lens is certainly very sharp across the frame. But now have a look at this:

This is a 1:1 crop. I can see some obvious saw-tooth aliasing to the wihe edge detail in the window.
Not sure I'd be happy with that.
