View Full Version : Picture of the Day, Friday, 15th Dec 2006
Bill Birchall is the first to admit that fortune smiled on him when he took this picture in Alaska. But that doesn't take anything away from what is a very fine DPNow Picture of the Day. Have a look and see what we mean. Would you like one of your pictures featured as a DPNow POTD? Just take up the free forum and gallery registration option and away you go. If one of your pictures catches our eye, we could be in touch!

Congrats on your POTD Bill. Your picture particularly interested me as I'm in the process of booking a trip to Alaska next May. I'm sure the potential for photography are endless there t-up

Thanks for your very kind comment. You will certainly be able to indulge your addiction to photography, in Alaska. We did a cruise up the Inside Passage from Vancouver to Whittier and then a land tour through the Denali and Mt. McKinley National parks up as far as Fairbanks. I am sure that you will have a great time.
Regards
Bill

Thats the one Bill, but not sure at present whether to go for a custom made land tour or stick with the cruise co. for that section.

We went with Princess Cruises and they did the Land tour also. Princess are very big in Alaska and own National Park hotels and run train journeys. I can certainly recommend them.
