I have produced a summary article here:

But here are some of the more interesting points that arose out of the press conference this morning:
Panasonic Lumix DMC-L1 Four Thirds DSLR launched.
It has a Leica-branded Vario Elmarit 14-50 (28-100 equiv) f/2.8-3.5 standard zoom lens, with Panasonic's Mega OIS image stabilisation built in.
The same 7.5 megapixel Live MOS sensor as the E-330 is used and it is confirmed as being designed and made by Panasonic.
The body has a magnesium alloy shell.
The viewfinder system is, essentially, the same as the Olympus E-330, using a sideways mirror and Porro mirror TTL optical finder and Mode A/B live view system.
It doesn't have a tilting screen like the E-330
Leica says it is investigating the possibility of introducing its own Four Thirds DSLR.
The new Vario Elmarit lens has an aperture ring and the body has a top-plate shutter speed dial.
There is no confirmation of shipping date or delivery. The prototypes shown and allowed to be handled were in various stages of development functionality. But, for example, we were able to navigate system menus in one example. All Panasonic would say is that the L1 would be available this year.
I'll be adding some photos shortly.
Fire away if you have any questions.
